Owner
Four Paws is owned and operated by Lorenzo Bennett, who holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from Southern University. From 2003 to 2014, he was employed by Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine as an intensive care unit technician. It was during this tenure that he was given the vision to venture into entrepreneurship while still maintaining the use of his animal science degree. The integrity of Four Paws is a cornerstone made up of his values, reputation, and compassion towards animals.
Lorenzo is also a licensed and ordained minister and received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Religious Studies December 2017 from LSU. He is married, and has two daughters and one maltipoo furbaby. He also holds a Master of Ministry from Anderson University (2022) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
